Change the Air Filter in your Vehicle
Time: 2009-02-18

Changing the air filter in your vehicle can and will help save gas in your car, and help it run better. There are so many different types so read on for any help needed.

To change the air filter you must first get everything together. Gather the new air filter and wrench or screwdriver that will fit to help remove the bolts or screws.

Next pop the hood to your vehicle and locate the air filter housing.

Using the wrench or screwdriver remove the screws or bolts (some air filter housings have just a latch that can be undone). After doing this raise the top of the housing unit revealing the air filter.

Remove the old air filter and replace the new one in the same position the old one was in (some are canisters instead of round and some are flat air filters).

Put the top of the housing back on the same way you took it off just in reverse. And shut the hood of your car.
